    Abstract

![CDATA[This paper is one in a series to be developed from an ALTC funded project “Beyond Numbers: Valuing Quality Teaching in Business Education”. It discusses a strategic approach to enhancing and valuing quality teaching and learning through the implementation of mid semester course evaluation to allow constructive alignment of objectives, materials, assessment and, support mechanisms in business courses. A qualitative methodology is used to measure opinion about evaluation instruments and the impact for both staff and students in two institutions. Results indicate the importance of ‘buy in’ from academics who perceive the process to be of constructive benefit and the value students place on ‘having a voice to make an impact to their own learning experience’ in a timely manner through active feedback and engagement.]]
