    Abstract

The author finds Morrellââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s statements on the issues on video games both provoking and challenging. Technology has invaded our lives and those of the students. Some people claim mathematics is an invention of the human mind in the eternal human quest to make sense of a chaotic world, so that in a sense it is a virtual reality. The challenge for teachers is how to harness the good while minimising the bad. How can we use of the motivational and brain provoking aspects of technology in the classrooms?
