Abstract
This paper reviews social networking sites that have become available via the Internet. In particular, membership rules relating to entries for "Facebook" and "MySpace" are studied in the Gaming and E-Learning communities. Information provided from these sites is analysed and then compared to evaluate the trust and privacy issues of shared information available to any given social group. Strengths and weaknesses of these Social Networking Sites (SNS) are evaluated using this information. This knowledge will assist with how these sites are to be regulated and evolve in the future.
