Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the wind tunnel studies conducted at the boundary layer wind tunnel facility at the University of Sydney to determine across-wind forces acting on the 76-story 306 m high benchmark building. The paper briefly describes the boundary layer wind tunnel and its special features, and then presents the testing procedures and the methodology used to determine the wind loads acting on a 1:400 model of the building.
