    Abstract

New Frontiers in Marketing at UWS utilises experiential learning by way of educational drama as the basis for subject delivery. Drama involves active role taking where attitudes, not characterisations, predominate. Marketing is a widely scoped discipline. In one drama based practicum involving the marketability of an invention, construction staff were co-opted to develop a new building product and to participate in the process. A radical device, the female urinal, was prototyped to provide the catalyst for exploring marketing through drama. Student feedback on learning outcomes was positive and staff are now keen to introduce drama convention to selected construction subjects.
