This creative project consists of two parts: the documentary film Cutback: Occupy the City, and a repository of video research content presented at the site www.cutback. com.au, designed for public and researcher access and as an ongoing repository for further digital documentation. The exegesis critically examines the creative process and the theoretical underpinnings that informed the documentary narrative and the website structure. This exegesis contextualises the production and design of the creative work in relation to the interview content. It offers a summary of the research methodology and the contextual framing of the overarching narrative position as presented in the documentary, and finally presents a critique of the documentary framing and production.
