This research examines the major human rights that are normally violated due to climate change. This study argues that the government of Bangladesh bears national and international responsibility to protect those human rights. This study conducts extensive investigation to determine an appropriate regime to protect the human rights of displaced people. It analyses the legal and policy initiatives of the government of Bangladesh in responding to climate change displacement, and addresses the shortcomings and loopholes evident in these initiatives. It also examines the measures of the international community to protect the human rights of people displaced by climate change in order to decide whether these initiatives are sufficient to address their human rights adequately.
